On Türkmen biz, your profile is the first place other members find you, size you up, and decide to reach out. The first fifteen minutes spent filling it in carefully shape the next several months of opportunities.
The sections
A profile is made of several blocks:
- Header — name, one-line headline, location, photo.
- About — short prose on who you are and what you do.
- Services — what you can offer other members.
- Experience — where you've worked.
- Education and certifications — what you've studied, qualifications you hold.
- Portfolio and Showcase — work samples, embedded videos and posts.
- Looking for — what you need right now: collaborator, client, mentor, job.
- Skills and tags — keywords that make you findable.
- Social and contact — external links.
Auto-save
There's no "Save" button. Every change in every block is persisted as you make it. Walk away mid-edit, come back in three days, your work is still there.
Your photo
For the profile photo: a clear face, decent light, something you'd be happy to be seen in outside the network too. Not a logo. Not a stock photo. A real face.
Import from LinkedIn
If you already have a LinkedIn profile, the "Import from LinkedIn" panel pulls your experience and skills out of an upload and fills your profile in automatically. You'll review and adjust afterwards — it's a head-start, not a final draft.
Submit for review
When the profile feels finished, submit it for review. Usually someone on the admin team looks at it within a few hours and either approves it or sends notes. Open your profile.
